PAGADIAN
CITY: A college student sound asleep after the New Year revelry was hit by a
stray bullet here, bringing to one police record’s casualty.
Police
C/Supt. Glenn Dulawan identified the stray bullet victim as Marly Tabudlong, a
resident of Sta. Maria, this city.
Dulawan
said that Tabudlong was already sleeping in her bedroom past midnight Thursday
when a stray bullet pierced her bedroom roof and hit her left thigh.
Police
recovered a deformed slug from the victim's bedroom and was submitted to the PNP
Provincial Crime Laboratory for ballistic examination, said Dulawan.
Tabudlong
was rushed to the Pagadian City Medical Center by her family and was
subsequently discharged after medical treatment.
This
city’s PNP said Tabudlong is the only stray bullet victim for this New Year's
revelry compared previously where they recorded two.
